DAY 2 - 10/02/08



Thanks for the presents! I hug the pillow to sleep every night. The scarf is really pretty and feels comfy too. Though not in the picture, this present means alot to me too. (The blur one right AiYing? I'm gonna get you when i get back. =P )

First day was spent lugging our boxes and luggage up to the 3rd storey and cleaning up the unit. Had a shock when we stepped into the apartment. The wooden floors and kitchen cabinets are sticky and dirty. The blinds are dusty. Thanks to the previous tenants, I had to be “maria” all over again. We met up with another friend (who arrived a week before us) and she brought us to Coles and Wollies. We bought pails, brooms, mops, Tupperware and groceries. The rest of the day was spent cleaning.

We didn’t have time to prepare dinner and had to settle for microwaved pizza, can soup and bread. Looks so pathetic!!









Looking on the bright side, our apartment is just next to Central Market!
